God Loves You: John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten (unique) Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Because God loves you he wants you to be aware of something.

Second:

You must be born again spiritually: John 3:3
"Jesus answered, and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,  Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
"That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”  John 3:6
Why do we need to be born again spiritually?

Third:
We are all sinners (missing God's perfection): Romans 3:23
"For all have sinned,and come short of the glory of God"
What is the result of our sin?

Fourth:
Spiritual Death, Separation from God: Romans 6:23a
"For the wages of sin is death..."
Just as you earn wages while working, God has to pay you for what you've done, and that is Eternal separation from himself.  But I have GOOD NEWS!!!!!

Fifth:
Jesus Christ died in our place, he paid the Wages of Sin!  Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth (proved) his love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Therefore, the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Knowing this, what do we need to understand?

Sixth:
Jesus Christ is just outside your hearts door, he would like to come into your life.  Revelation 3:20
"Behold I stand at the door, and knock, if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
What happpens when we open the door?

Seventh:
When we open the door of our life to Jesus we become children (sons) of God.  John 1:12
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name."
If it is your desire to start a new life in Jesus Christ you might pray a prayer similar to this:
"Dear God I thank you for sending your son Jesus to pay for my sin.  I now recognize that I am in need of a Personal Savior.  Please forgive me Lord for all my sins, I now invite you Jesus to come into my life, to be my Savior and Lord,
please show me how to live everyday for you.  I ask this prayer in Jesus Christ's name, Amen".
